    Ukraine calling

With Zoot’s new series, we’re showcasing the most inspired creative minds, as always, while serving as a platform to help them continue creating in the face of destruction.

Here you will meet Ukrainian architects, artists, directors, photographers, musicians and poets. You will hear from fashion, accessory and jewellery designers – all of whom woke up on February 24th to a world that was unrecognisable.

Some are still in their war-torn country. Others have fled abroad or started a new life in another place. Wherever they are, we believe that their voices must be heard – so that we can all understand how real lives have been ruptured and disrupted by Putin’s war.

Back in March 2011, a Zoot team went to Ukraine to cover Kyiv Fashion Days – and discovered a welcoming, vibrant community of talented creative minds.

We want to see that community thriving again as soon as possible.
