Each fashion season is different but much of it follows a repetitive rhythm. This editorial is including some basic essentials and even though “in trend of the season” we introduce key pieces, that if well chosen, will stay with you for many years.

Model Bruna Colpa
Often overlooked in fashion for fulfilling an essential function, basics and classics come together, gain strength, and take center stage in the contemporary minimalist look. In this photoshoot, captured through the lens of acclaimed Portuguese photographer Carlos Teixeira, the full denim look, which peaked in the 2000s, returns with a cleaner approach, embraced by the power of today’s street style.
Apart of denim, oversized tailoring is also on the rise again, championed by designers like Raf Simons, Balenciaga, and Louis Vuitton. In this shoot, the version by Portuguese designer Luis Carvalho brings style and modernity to the look, emitting a more relaxed and gender-neutral vibe.
Classic shirting gains transparency and dramatic volume, pushing the look outside the box, as seen in the model by Elisabetta Franchi. Traditional party dresses appear cleaner, shorter, and with a sexy edge, while still maintaining their sophistication. Meanwhile, long evening gowns are deconstructed, featuring geometric shapes and a single sleeve, evoking the aura of an apocalyptic Greek goddess of the new era.
Basics even take the lead in beauty, where skincare and the “no-makeup look” are celebrated. In the beauty created by makeup artist Everson Rocha, the stunning model Bruna Colpa has her features subtly enhanced by light contouring and a natural complexion, with a smoky, well-defined eyelid and nude lips. Here, less is more — but still dazzling!
Blue on blue — all denim
Oversize in paired pieces with feminine masculinity
Seductive comfort wrapped in burgundy
Transperent vollumes
Deconstructing solid red
Sheer beauty with natural tones
All the products used are from Hermès’ beauty line, where I opted for makeup in earthy and peachy tones, with glowing, hydrated skin, focusing on celebrating natural beauty. Following a clean and modern style, I used Hermès Plein Air foundation for luminous skin. For contouring and face baking, I used the Iridescent Mineral Powder. For the eyes, the eyeshadow palette is also from Hermès. To highlight the model’s green eyes, a rosy blush was applied in the same shade as the lips. For the lips, I used the Infused Care Oil lip oil. “
