For Atumn and Winter 2024/25, Luís Carvalho was capturing the ephemerality of nature and the seasons in his collection. With a touch of poetry and a vision rooted in nature, Carvalho conveys a visual narrative that celebrates renewal and the fleeting beauty of flowers.

Luís Carvalho has been a prominent figure in the Portuguese fashion scene since the establishment of his brand in 2013 and is not only presenting continiously at ModaLisboa but also in International showcases like Showfloor Berlin and Paris Men’s Fashion Week.

At ModaLisboa For Good, Luís showcased his collection BLOSSOM. Inspired by the unpredictability of the seasons and the ephemeral beauty of nature, the collection transcended gender boundaries, featuring oversized silhouettes, three-dimensional volumes and an explosion of color.

Blossom is a tribute to nature in its most exuberant form. With textures and fluid shapes, Carvalho created pieces that unfold in layers and volumes, evoking the delicacy of moving flower petals. Materials such as cotton, wool and viscose were skilfully manipulated to create a fascinating interplay between the smooth and the textured, while colors such as white, red, green, lilac and magenta brought the collection’s vibrant palette to life.

Luís Carvalho described the creative process behind Blossom as a journey inspired by nature itself. His pieces reflect this narrative, harmoniously fusing organic elements with a contemporary, urban aesthetic. For Autumn/Winter 2024/25, he has once again challenged gender conventions, creating fashion that transcends barriers and celebrates diversity and beauty in all its forms.
