FLOWERS KNOW BETTER: Litkovska and Nick Knight present a charitable capsule collection in Paris
“Flowers Know Better” is a powerful collaboration between Ukrainian fashion label LITKOVSKA and the iconic imagemaker and SHOWstudio director Nick Knight. It was revealed last week at Paris Fashion Week during the presentation of Litkovska Spring/Summer 2025 collection. With the help of humanitarian relief nonprofit Be an Angel, 100% of the proceeds from this collection will go directly to support a project for children affected by the war in Ukraine.
This capsule collection combines the resilliant spirit of the Ukrainian people with Knight’s artistic vision, reflecting themes of beauty and renewal. Drawing inspiration from Knight’s passion for floral photography and his own garden, the capsule features flowers that bloom in Ukraine, even through rubble, through concrete or on battlefields — symbols of endurance and the power of beauty in the face of war. Through their shared vision, Litkovska and Nick Knight present a collection that encourages us to find beauty both within and around us.

Each piece, meticulously crafted by Lilia Litkovska, is produced entirely in Ukraine, as all her collection. For this collaboration, Nick Knight created floral imagery that has been deconstructed, embroidered, and applied to various fabrics, playing with the form and lines of Litkovska’s avant-garde designs.
The capsule includes a range of garments focused on the theme of ‘Жнива’ (Zhynyva), the Ukrainian word for ‘harvest,’ symbolizing the culmination of creative effort. As central part of Litkovska’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, the collaboration features a jacket, suit trousers, a vest with an open back, voluminous shirts, and a variety of denim pieces, including skirts and jackets. A T-shirt inscribed with the slogan “Flowers Know Better” echoes the collection’s message of nature’s wisdom and resilience.

The Litkovska x Nick Knight collaboration was initiated by Be an Angel, led by creative director Holger Homann, an international humanitarian organization. All profits from this collaboration, available in stores from February 2025, will support a project dedicated to helping Ukrainian children.
Since March 2022, Be an Angel has been providing critical relief and evacuation efforts in Ukraine. To date, they have evacuated 23,500 people from conflict zones and delivered 4,800 tons of relief supplies. Their mission extends beyond immediate aid, focusing on the sustainable rebuilding of Ukraine, with a particular emphasis on trauma recovery and supporting vulnerable children.
