Every twist and turn, captured in vibrant detail, challenges perceptions and reimagines the possibilities of self-expression.

Drawing Cabaret Couture is a London-based production team that embodies a fusion of artistic mastery and conceptual innovation. With its weekly classes, the DCC studios cultivate a collaborative environment in which artists and photographers from diverse backgrounds converge to explore their art. With a list of collaborations that includes important figures from the dance and fashion industries, DCC’s influence extends far beyond the boundaries of traditional artistic expression, inviting the public to embark on a journey of discovery in which fashion, art and metaphysical concepts intertwine.

Angelo Pizziato is a practicing artist whose colorful interpretations of light and form can be seen in his portraits, landscapes, and nudes. With a focus on expressionism, Angelo’s work reflects a unique perspective on the world around him. Beyond his artistic endeavors, Angelo shares his expertise as an art tutor, teaching watercolor, life drawing, and acrylic painting.

Originally from San Diego, Anna Dinkel’s artistic journey has taken her from the USSR to the United States, where she discovered her passion for drawing and fashion illustration. With a master’s degree in architecture and a background in fashion brand management, Anna’s artistic focus centers on figure drawing and fashion, capturing the essence of her subjects with charcoal and soft pastels. As an instructor and active member of artistic communities, Anna shares her knowledge and passion for real-life scenes through her expressive artwork.

Anna Huang, a fashion designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California College of The Arts, brings a multicultural perspective to her creative process. With expertise in denim, outdoor wear, prints, and patterns, Anna’s career spans across various commercial brands in the US. Based in New York City, Anna continues to pursue her passion for apparel design and fashion illustration, infusing her work with her diverse experiences from living and traveling worldwide.

Betty Southerland returned to her artistic practice after a 20-year hiatus, driven by a desire to reclaim her passion and explore the human experience. Self-taught with a background in graphic design, Betty’s figurative artworks delve into the complexities of human emotion and expression. Through her experimentation with watercolors, pure pigment, oils, and ink, Betty pushes the boundaries of her practice, embracing mistakes as opportunities for creative growth.

Specializing in large abstract expressionist paintings, portraits, and life drawing, Jean’s digital work with Drawing Cabaret Couture allows her to imagine and explore new avenues of creativity. Through her innovative approach and continued interest in gesture, color, and energy, Jean’s artwork pushes the boundaries of traditional artistic expression.

Jo Conybeare’s role as an educator at the National Gallery has reignited her interest in the figure, leading her to explore themes of clothing and identity through life drawing sessions and videos. Drawing inspiration from the rich artistic heritage of the gallery’s collection, Jo’s participation in Drawing Cabaret Couture offers a contemporary and exciting lens through which to explore these timeless themes.

Karen Yan, a Los Angeles-based fashion illustrator and costume concept artist, brings her passion for fashion illustration and storytelling to her work in the entertainment industry. With a background in fashion design from prestigious institutions like Parsons Paris and Central St. Martins, Karen’s illustrations have graced the screens of major productions like High School Musical 3 and GLOW, showcasing her talent for bringing characters and narratives to life through her artwork.
