Atelier of Antonia Rosa, makeup and hair preparations are starting.

Before we continue with the BTS of makeup and hair and the actual photoshoot we will give you an insight into the fitting, which is the first thing we do on the set. Its important to decide the final styles and for the team to get a better idea of the colours and style to adjust with hair and makeup. A production is a team effort, we all come together and want to make something beautiful happening.

The dragon was painted by Antonia on the wall of her atelier the night before the shoot. She wanted to create a symbol for the strength of the Ukrainian people. Our model Maryana is from Ukraine but living with her parents in Lisbon since since 19 years.

It´s always a team work, from left to right: Monica Lopes, who did the interview with Maryana, stylist Vladimir Frol, hairstylist Helena Vaz Pereira in front of Maryana with assistant Nicole.

Antonia paints the poem “Mignonne, allons voir si la rose” by Pierre de Ronsard, written 1545 on Maryana´s face. It was the favourite poem of Antonia´s mother and is all about love, nature, impermanence and carpe diem.
