Backstage at GONÇALO PEIXOTO SS24 at ModaLisboa à la carte

Gonçalo Peixoto‘s latest collection introduced a strong blend of energy and sensuous sophistication. Using sequins, vibrant colors, sheer and brocade materials with a lot of attention to detail, he combined various influences, creating garmets that merge dreamy and modern elements.

Gonçalo Peixoto, hailing from Guimarães, Portugal, has been an active presence in the fashion industry since 2012. His collections have not only piqued the interest of fashion retailers, magazines, and fellow artists but also led to his debut at London Fashion Week in 2017 and his regular participation in the ModaLisboa since 2018.

For the Spring / Summer 2024 season, Gonçalo’s creations comprise sequins, brocades, sheers, florals, mini-dresses, crop-tops, and an abundance of sequins. The color palette for the collection includes white, pink, blue, lavender, sage and silver elements.

The designs embody inherent sensuality and allure and a compelling provocativeness. Models, with slicked-back wet hair created by Rui Rocha, show confidence; and a deep hydrated / “no makeup” look by Antonia Rosa add to Gonçalo´s vision of the beautiful girl nextdoor: sophisticated, natural and irresistibly sexy.
