FELDER FELDER SS12 AT LONDON FASHION WEEK

The Felder Felder show for Spring/Summer 2012 presented an underlying fetish theme featuring thin leather straps of all shapes and sizes to form belts, cuffs, braces and collars, adorned with a variety of studs and spikes for extra S&M attitude…

The collection itself was distinctly feminine; including black and gold swimwear, ivory white dresses and a selection of orange or green printed chiffon looks with sensual high waist silhouettes. Metallic leather and vinyl pieces in pastel blues and greens formed slouching backpacks, biker jackets and mini-dresses whilst a selection of monochrome floor-length looks were transformed by scattered gold and silver beading techniques.

Overall, the collection proved that fetish doesn’t have to be menacing and can be played down, even made elegant, when combined with femininity or modern, coloured prints.
