The Diesel Black Gold Spring Summer 2012 collection tells a story of modern nomads, taking inspiration from the journeys of a hyper-real protagonist in perpetual motion through time, frontiers and real life experiences.
The collection dives deeper into the brand’s DNA to express the soul of this nomadic metropolitan hero, portraying the sea as his natural element and language. In this way the pieces show a clear sense of fluidity and freedom with dinstinct references to the world of the navy. The collection is marked with travellers breaks, tears and holes giving it all a genuine and everyday vintage look. Dye and patchwork techniques are presented on functional apparel, decorated with marine stitching and prints.
