26-28 MAY: PRIMAVERA SOUND 2011, BARCELONA
The ZOOT team will be in Barcelona this week for the annual Primavera Sound festival. Featuring artists like P J Harvey and The Flaming Lips, as well as showcasing up and coming acts from Poland, Japan and home grown Spanish bands, the festival has a real international character.

There’s a nostalgic British touch to events this year. Pulp are reuniting to play their first show in ten years, with a promise to play fan ‘favourites’ and Echo & The Bunnymen perform their seminal albums Crocodiles (1980) and Heaven Up Here (1981) in full.
The festival is held up in the hills of Montjuic mountain and by the sea in the Forum de Barcelona. The city will also play host to bands with live gigs at metro stations, restaurants and on a touring bus. There’s an exciting few days of music, film and fashion ahead and Zoot will bring you updates on all the action.
