NEW PERMENANT EXHIBITION AT MUDE MUSEUM OF DESIGN AND FASHION, LISBON
Friday 27th May 2011 marks the opening of a new permanent exhibition entitled, ‘Unique and Multiple: 2 Centuries of design’, featuring never before seen pieces from new authors and artists, both Portuguese and International, in the fields of design and fashion.
Day-to-day objects play an important role in the new exhibition, including Clip, BIC ballpoints, Tupperware and many more, to represent their respective eras along the route of design development over the past two centuries.
Over 300 pieces will be on display throughout the 0 floor of MUDE – Design and Fashion Museum, Francisco Capelo Collection. Along with a rich and varied narrative, the objects, including limited edition pieces and complete collections will construct an informative image of design over the last few centuries.
