Designer Luis Buchinho opened Day 1 of this years Portugal Fashion in Porto last Wednesday. He presented an updated version of his latest Autumn/Winter collection which included the début of his first menswear pieces…
The look was both smart and creative with blocks of deep colour and a strong use of knitwear and subtle stripe or check patterns. The style was sophisticated yet maintained a tough masculinity thanks to the roughly trimmed hems and “inside-out” stitching, along with ‘workmen boots’ and use of leather or neoprene adding variety and detail to form a collection which proves that Buchinho can now succesfully expand his horizons to include menswear fashion and we look forward to seeing how this line will develop in the future for the Portuguese designer.
