PEDRO PEDRO "WALLPAPER" SPRING/SUMMER 2011
For Spring Summer 2011 Pedro Pedro draws inspiration from two style visionaries, William Morris and Andy Warhol, to develop fresh, subtle but striking prints over sophisticated silhouettes.
Bright and embracing colours create a minimal post-modern feel – the skirt suit and dress/cape hybrid are refreshing but very dressed-up. And the halter-neck, backless styles bring an element of airy, floating sensuality to elegant shapes.
Cotton mixes with metal yarn in a light crumpled fabric for prints. Silk and linen mixes bring shine and impact to bolder colours. This collection is all about the individual – mixing prints with simple and delicate pieces creates a look that is both modern and classic, strong and beautiful but most of all utterly wearable.
