20 OCT: MANGO EL-BOTÓN FASHION AWARDS
The 3rd edition of the competition El-Botón will take place 20 October in the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), Barcelona.
With this competition MANGO wanted to create a project to support young fashion talents around the world.
The 10 finalists of this year will present their collection to a jury composed of different personalities in the fashion industry, Jean Paul Gaultier is this edition’s president.
Amongst the finalists are Spanish duo Zazo & Brull, Jean Pierre Braganza from London, Japanese designer Motonari Ono, German designer Michael Sontag, Italian duo Leitmotiv by Fabio Sasso and Juan David Caro, the Austrian designer Isabelle Steger, the Belgians Lena Lumelsky and Harvey Bouterse as well as Matthew Cunnington and John Sanderso from England.
