6-9 JULY: MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK BERLIN
Today, the 9th Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin has begun at Brandenburg Gate and will continue until Saturday 9th July seeing designers such as Michael Sontag, Lena Hoschek, Hugo, Diesel, Escada Sport, G Star, Lala Berlin and Michalsky make their runway presentations, coinciding with the Bread & Butter urban streetwear trade fair and many other exhibitions and show space openings in Berlin this week.
For the Spring/Summer 2012 edition of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week star photographer Terry Richardson worked with popular Canadian model Jessica Stam using the Mercedes Benz Concept A-Class as a stage for the photo shoot which sees Stam standing and posing on top of the car roof. In a stunning dress by Giles Deacon for Emanuel Ungaro and bright orange-red high heels the images give off a sense of eroticism for which the photographer is famed, and this fits perfectly with this years fashion week theme, ‘Accelerate the Pulse‘.
