PRADA 'MINIMAL BAROQUE' EYEWEAR: PHASE 2
The MINIMAL BAROQUE eyewear by Prada is more than just a collection, it is an ongoing artistic project which reaches its second phase tomorrow, 17th May 2011, with the launch of 2 new sunglasses designs for the Minimal Baroque collection, accompanied by the simultaneous release of 8 carefully selected photographs dedicated to new talent in fashion and presented in the talent section of vogue.it – www.vogue.it/talents
The new sunglasses are available in a wide selection of colour combinations and patterns featuring the beautifully architectural Baroque swirls on either the arm or front of the frame with a variety of top quality colour fade lenses to match.
During the first phase, the project ‘FROM DRAWINGS TO PICTURES’ took place, involving the entire collection of eyewear being recreated as illustrations by 3 separate artists, emphasizing the uniqueness of each object (see our previous Zoot report here). Then, for the second phase, in collaboration with Vogue Talents, 8 selected talents from the world of photography were asked to reinterpret the two new models in a popular way, inspired by comic book designs…
