FAMOUS FACES BY TAKKODA
This new book of masquerading animals, ‘Famous Faces – Takkoda’, published by teNeues in March 2011, is perfect for all ages and is guaranteed to make you crack a smile.
Based on a line of successful greetings cards the company was started by two couples in England who share a love of animals as strong personalities; the name ‘Takkoda’ is derived from the Sioux word meaning “friend to all”. An interest in the “cult of celebrity” and extravagant sense of humour is what drives this book, created by photographing real (and completely unharmed!) animals capturing their natural expressions before digitally transforming them into their own iconic personality.
This comedic book is comprised of 41 colour photographs with text available in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish and is available now throughout Europe, also to be released overseas during April.
